We refer to the financial results for the first quarter ended 31 March 2021 released by Heineken N.V. on 21 April 2021 which encapsulates, among others, the following commentary:

“In Malaysia, beer volume increased by a low-single-digit, driven by a strong recovery in March relative to last year when the government Movement Control Order required us to fully suspend operations.”

The Board wishes to inform that HEINEKEN Malaysia has scheduled to release its financial report for the first quarter ended 31 March 2021 on Thursday, 20 May 2021 in accordance with Paragraph 9.22 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Details on the Company’s performance for the said period will be reported thereon.

Heineken N.V. is a corporation incorporated in the Netherlands and its shares are traded on the Euronext in Amsterdam. It indirectly holds 51% equity interest in HEINEKEN Malaysia via its wholly-owned subsidiary GAPL Pte Ltd.
