We refer to the financial results for the first half year ended 30 June 2021 released by Heineken N.V. on 2 August 2021 which encapsulates, among others, the following commentary:

“In Malaysia, beer volume increased by a high-single digit, led by Tiger. The premium portfolio grew in the mid-teens. Since 1 June, the government issued a new Movement Control Order which required suspending our brewery operations. Drinkies, our business to consumer platform, is the leading alcohol online portal in Malaysia and continues to show encouraging growth.”

The Board wishes to inform that HEINEKEN Malaysia has scheduled to release its financial report for the second quarter and six months ended 30 June 2021 on Wednesday, 25 August 2021 in accordance with Paragraph 9.22 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Details on the Company’s performance for the said period will be reported thereon.

Heineken N.V. is a corporation incorporated in the Netherlands and its shares are traded on the Euronext in Amsterdam. It indirectly holds 51% equity interest in HEINEKEN Malaysia via its wholly-owned subsidiary GAPL Pte Ltd.
