We refer to the financial results for the third quarter ended 30 September 2021 released by Heineken N.V. on 27 October 2021 which encapsulates, among others, the following commentary:

“In Malaysia, beer volume declined close to 20%, as our brewery was suspended from 1 June to 16 August to comply with the Movement Control Order issued by the government. In September, beer volume grew strongly, ahead of 2019, following the reopening of the economic and social sectors.”

The Board wishes to inform that HEINEKEN Malaysia has scheduled to release its financial report for the third quarter and nine months ended 30 September 2021 on Thursday, 11 November 2021 in accordance with Paragraph 9.22 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Details on the Company’s performance for the said period will be reported thereon.

Heineken N.V. is a corporation incorporated in the Netherlands and its shares are traded on the Euronext in Amsterdam. It indirectly holds 51% equity interest in HEINEKEN Malaysia via its wholly-owned subsidiary GAPL Pte Ltd.
