We refer to the financial results for the first quarter ended 31 March 2022 released by Heineken N.V. on 20 April 2022 which encapsulates, among others, the following commentary:

“In Malaysia, beer volume increased in the low-twenties versus last year and ahead of 2019, benefitting from relatively lower COVID-related restrictions in the market. The premium portfolio outperformed, led by Heineken.”

The Board wishes to inform that HEINEKEN Malaysia has scheduled to release its financial report for the first quarter ended 31 March 2022 on Wednesday, 11 May 2022 in accordance with Paragraph 9.22 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Details on the Company’s performance for the said period will be reported thereon.

Heineken N.V. is a corporation incorporated in the Netherlands and its shares are traded on the Euronext in Amsterdam. It indirectly holds 51% equity interest in HEINEKEN Malaysia via its wholly-owned subsidiary GAPL Pte Ltd.
