We refer to the financial results for the first half year ended 30 June 2022 released by Heineken N.V. on 1 August  2022 which encapsulates, among others, the following commentary:

“In Malaysia, beer volume increased organically in the high-thirties, primarily driven by a strong activation of the year of the Tiger in the first quarter and the lifting of restrictions and on-trade reopening in the second quarter. Premium outperformed our broader portfolio, led by Heineken® and Edelweiss. Revenue management, premiumisation and positive channel mix effects contributed to a strong revenue performance.”

The Board wishes to inform that HEINEKEN Malaysia has scheduled to release its financial report for the second quarter and six months ended 30 June 2022 on Friday, 12 August 2022 in accordance with Paragraph 9.22 of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. Details on the Company’s performance for the said period will be reported thereon.

Heineken N.V. is a corporation incorporated in the Netherlands and its shares are traded on the Euronext in Amsterdam. It indirectly holds 51% equity interest in HEINEKEN Malaysia via its wholly-owned subsidiary GAPL Pte Ltd.
